Save these dates, business journalists, as SABEW returns to the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism this autumn for its annual Fall Conference, Sept. 27-28, 2012.

The conference begins with an evening opening reception, 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at the school, with workshop sessions throughout the next business day, Friday, Sept. 28.

The CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, located in the historic former home of the old New York Herald-Tribune just a few blocks away from Times Square, will once again be our home for the workshop. Planned are sessions about the increasing importance of apps in journalism, the retail industry, the federal budget and new trends on Wall Street.

REFUND POLICY: SABEW will refund 100 percent of an attendee's registration remittance if e-mail notice of cancellation is received at sabew@sabew.org before 5 p.m. Phoenix time (Mountain Standard/Pacific Daylight) Thursday, Sept. 20, 2011. A 50 percent refund will be granted if notice is received at sabew@sabew.org by 5 p.m. Phoenix time on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2011. No refunds will be issued if notice was received at sabew@sabew.org after 5 p.m. Phoenix time on Sept. 25, 2011.
